Dr Máirín Ryan is the Director of HTA and Deputy CEO at HIQA, Ireland.
She previously was the Chief 1 Pharmacist at the National Centre for
Pharmacoeconomics.
She leads a team who undertake HTAs of medicines,
devices, diagnostics, surgical interventions and public health programs
as well as evidence synthesis to inform public policy and National
Clinical Guidelines.
She co-chairs the ISPOR European HTA Roundtable
and is a founding member of the Heads of European HTA Agencies Group.
She previously served on the Executive Board of EUnetHTA and as Chair
and vice-Chair of EUnetHTA’s Assembly of HTA Agencies.
